Overview
Experience points (or EXP) are how your Snek will progress in the game.
EXP also determines level your snek is!
Different levels brings different bonuses in special activities!
LIFE-CYCLE
LEVEL 1 (0 - 150 EXP)
No bonuses
LEVEL 2 (150 - 300 EXP)
Once you have enough experience, your Snekderg progresses in age.
Several new features are unlocked for your snek:
Breeding
+10% Success in Activities
LEVEL 3 (300 - 500 EXP)
Your snek has proved to be a successful individual in terms of survival and intelligence.
New features include:
+20% Success in Activities
+2 Damage in PvP
Increased chances of finding rare items and Stat Points
LEVEL 4 (500-1499 EXP)
As a successful snek, all features are now unlocked.
New features include:
+30% Success in Activities
Increased chances of finding rare items and Stat Points
LEVEL 5 (1500+ EXP)
Your snek has proved to be remarkably skilled in terms of survival!
Elderhood comes with many perks, including:
New features include:
+30% Success in Activities
Increased chances of finding rare items and Stat Points
EXP can be gained in literature and visual art.
EXP can also be gained by successful hunts and territorial disputes.
Even though sneks level automatically, it's good to keep a tracker just in case there's an error in the database!

EXP can be gained in literature and visual art.

Uncolored, unshaded lines - 5 EXP
Flat Colored - 10 EXP

Fully Illustrated - 20 EXP

More than 50% of the Snek is shown
Uncolored, unshaded lines - 10 EXP
Flat Colored - 15 EXP
Full Shaded - 20 EXP
Fully Illustrated - 25 EXP
^ You can only choose one option, not two!
Fully illustrated means:
Some kind of shadows or highlights, as long as shading can be seen
A semi-complex to complex background
At least 50% of the snek is showing
ANIMATIONS
Minor Animations (blinks, bounces, etc) - 15 EXP
Major Animations (Run cycles, large movements) - 30 EXP
Animations are judged per scene!
LITERATURE
Literature must have the Snek be a major feature of the story.
Literature also includes character bios, etc.
150 Words - 5 EXP
BONUSES
Bonuses
Activity Bonus - 5 EXP
Successful Activity - 5 EXP
Non Commissioned - 5 EXP
Other Member's Snek included - 10 EXP < Stacks per snek
Correct Region - 5 EXP
Anomaly Snek Included - 10 EXP
Breeding Image Bonus - 10 EXP
Story Image Bonus - 15 EXP
Breeding Image Bonus - 10 EXP
Story Image Bonus - 15 EXP
Individual bonuses cannot be used more than once per image with the exception of the other member's snek bonus.
The OMS bonus works as follows:
There are five sneks in an image.
4 of those five are yours, so the bonus doesn't count for them.
One snek is not yours and belongs to someone else, so the other 4 that belong to you can get a +10 EXP bonus.
For every snek that is featured in an image that is not yours, the bonus will stack per snek.
